His other hits include the singles Children of the Revolution and 20th Century Boy. Bolan identified variously as gay and bisexual, dropping inflammatory hints to journalists about his early experiences of homosexuality, though his adult relationships were exclusively with women. was married to June Child, to whom he was relentlessly unfaithful, eventually having two children with long-term girlfriend Gloria Jones. He died in a car accident in 1977, aged 29. Now considered one of the greatest rock stars of the 20th century, he was posthumously inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2020.
